Is there a way to extract from an image just one file or folder?

I saved a desktop icon along with the rest of the drive image, but when I opened the image and put the folder back on the desktop, the icon for it reverted back to the yellow folder, instead of the icon,(I believe it was a Bert from sesame street ).

Now ,it did show Bert in the image!.

Strange,as I sent another one to desktop that kept the image.

    It was a tree!

Yes, use the Explore function to mount the image with a drive letter. Then copy the file you want from the image to any folder of your choice with Windows Explorer. Just don't try this with Build 859 because the Explore function was broken. Use any other build.
