Trillian help

hi, can someone help me get the settings correct in Trillian so when i go home i can talk to this computer (helen and other room-mates) using my messenger client (Gaim on Ubuntu)

what do i need to do and know so we can talk to each other?

if anyone uses Gaim on Linux can you help me configure Gaim? thanks

so far all i've done is install Trillian, Helen's room-mate's name comes up when it runs, but i'm not sure if it's associated to any network!

Good to hear.

Though, there shouldn't be any problems communicating from Trillian to GAIM via AIM, MSN, Yahoo, IRC. I believe this has already been tested. I've used both on my computer for sometime now, with little configuring on GAIM, and a bit of configuring of personal options, not messanging options, with Trillian.

 

actually i lied. i give up trying to do computer stuff with my friends.

i'll just use IRC if i ever feel the urge to talk to people on a computer
