TrendMicro Wont Uninstall

    My Asus EEEPC came with Trendmicro Security installed on it. The documentation says its the first version and you cant upgrade to it from any of TM's other packages. Issue is I dont want it and it wont uninstall. Any help here? Ive tried uninstaller software, trendmicro removal tools, and safe mode to no avail.

    go to Programs
    trend micro file
    tools
    there is an option there to uninstall it something like "force uninstall" or just uninstall try it several times even after it is uninstalled.

    You might also try to re-install first, then uninstall... in case it got broken somehow. And another tip would be AppRemover ;)

    I uninstalled it myself.

    I deleted the program files folder, ran a registry scan, cleaned out the %appdata%\local and %appdata%\roaming files, and manually deleted TM's services by hand. All is good now.
