    Well I did a search on Wilders and only saw one post, so I wanted to bring this up.

    TrashMail.net looks like a really nice Firefox addon;

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/trashmailnet/

    So you can use disposable email addresses and protect your real one from spam.

    There is also spamgourmet;

    http://spamgourmet.com/

    But the TrashMail seems nice as a addon to make it easy to use from within the browser...

    This one is based in Switzerland and uses a bookmarklet instead of an add-on.

    For the paranoid there is Bloody Vikings! which includes support for Chaos Computer Club's anonbox.

    tempalias looks interesting...

    All this begs to ask, how safe are these supposed people/companies out there that we are using, that we give a real address to? Of course make it a web based email address, but still...

    Why do you say that Bloody Vikings is for the paranoid, what makes it so different then the others?

    THANKS

    It supports anonbox which uses a two-part system -- random e-mail and mailbox addresses with no direct connection. They delete the mailbox and the email address five minutes after a successful fetch of a delivered mail and their server logs do not include IP addresses or User-Agents. CCC describe themselves as Europe's largest hacker group. They encourage the use of Tor and are probably not sympathetic to surveillance.

    CCC?

    Who's the largest hack group?

    Who encourages Tor?

    Since you threw anonbox into the mix, for the above questions I don't know if you are talking about them or Bloody Vikings...

    THANKS

    nightrace was talking about the Chaos Computer Club. anonbox isn't an entity so much as a service provided by the CCC. Bloody Vikings! is just an add-on and I'm not sure the author is affiliated with the CCC in any way.

    Hope this clears things up :D
