in china, kaspersky personal suit (one year) sell only 8$ also.
but many chinese is prefer Rising(25$) Kingsoft(15$ one year) and JiangminKillVirus(25$ one year). and most of them the AV software is the only genuine on their computer.

 

Privated software is used in every country, in China this is common, but some crakes come from US or other countries, we just download and translate into chinese.We can't offer the price the software charge indeed, and is not the time we pay for the software, when the time comes, most of the programmers will work in china or the biggest market for money. We use privated software is also make contribute to the producer like microsoft, we feedback and form the habits, then make the program better. In the future you will possibly be the winner for we use you software for nothing. Microsoft recently won the $100 million deal in windows.

I think besides local vendor kasperksy is the biggest seller for its price and the key easy to find, it also have good cooperation with the big site here.

Sorry for the late answer but here in Bulgaria the situation is specific . In Bulgaria many users (both home and corporate) use illegal software - cracked versions . Unfortunately the authorities are doing nothing !!! Can you believe me that here in BG there are sites/servers which are legal firms and everybody in this country knows they are distibuting pirated software/films/music and so on . I guess you don't believe me but it is true . That's why I will make two tables/lists

well, not quite.
I've noticed they have plenty of definitions from Kaspersky and they have a nice heuristic engine but with many FPs.
