TI10 home trial version hangs at the end of this thread:
Backup -> Select Backup Type -> My Computer -> Next ->
    NTFS C: -> Next -> Select Folder on D:... -> Next ->
At this point a Confirmation dialog pops up which says:
"The backup archive will be created on the dynamic volumn. Note...
not be able to restore ... when booting from the rescue media!" ->
    Click No

TI10 home hangs -> click X to close the dialog and the program is
    forced to shutdown.??

D: Maxtor 6Y160M0 NTFS Dynamic SATA Microsoft Driver

Q: Can't backups be made to a Dynamic volumn?

Dynamic volumes have been a problem in previous versions - may be one of the bugs not yet addressed.

Well, I moved my files off of the drive and converted it to a basic partition.
I haven't tried to begin an actual backup, but it looks like it's going to backup
to the new partition. I just may revert to TI9 home until TI10 home settles
    down a little.

    Hello ealger,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

We are sorry for the delayed response.

Please be aware that Acronis True Image 10.0 Home as well as Acronis True Image 9.0 Home does not allow you to create an image of one or more dynamic volumes and restore it to a dynamic volume. However, you can use Acronis True Image 10.0 Home to create an image of a basic disk and store it on a dynamic volume.

The restriction is that dynamic disks (disks, managed by Windows Logical Disk Manager) are not accessible when using the standalone version of Acronis True Image (Acronis Startup Recovery manager or Acronis True Image Bootable CD).

As for the issue you have experienced when you tried to place the image on a dynamic volume I would recommend that you create Acronis Report and Windows System Information as it is described in Acronis Help Post. Then submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with a solution.

    Thank you.
