    Hi,

I have even severe startup delay issues with TI 11 on a newly and fresh Windows XP Pro with SP2. Yes all new patches and updates are installed.

This is what happens after TI 11 is installed: After the login procedure, the desktop and it's icons don't show up. I see the wallpaper with the green grass and the clouds and I can mouse around the mouse cursor. The system is waiting to being loaded completely and this is solely related to TI 11. This delay takes at least two minutes. After that period of time, the desktop and the icons appear.

I removed TI 11 and installed TI 10 on the same system, after the reboot I had no startup delay at all, the xp desktopand the icons is shown instantly after the login.

Any suggestions, except from installing a fresh copy of XP?

    Best regards,
    StardustOne (from Switzerland)

In my configuration don't work Try&Decide, it says that is not load driver, if i remove this service, Xp is not too slow, is as before TI installation.

Try to disable the "Try&Decide"-Mode in startup. Maybe this helps.

I had a similar problem with very slow boot ups and shut downs after installing TI 11. They would take around 10-15 mins. The posted solution actually worked... complaint email and refund request averted!

Windows XP SP2, (gobs of memory)
After struggling with TI 11 Home, (slow startup, slowed computer down, and slow backup), I also removed 11 tonight and have reinstalled 10 which works fine but I have lost all my previous backups as they are not recognized anymore by 10 but not too concerned as I also backup to DVD-DL frequently.
"If it isn't broken, don't fix it" applies here. Stick with 10 for a while longer until the bugs are out of TI 11 Home.
