Thunderbird inbox save & restore

Hi, probably already discussed, but can't get my hands on it.

How to conveniently save the complete ThBird inbox, sentbox and contacts list so as to be able and restore these after a fresh install on another computer?

MozBackup gets the job done quickly and easily.

 

I store My Documents in a different drive and move my Profiles to the My Documents directory which means that I can always change the system disk without loosing my emails and settings.

For Firefox:

C:\Documents and Settings\phasechange\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\profiles.ini has these as the last two lines:

and I move the Profiles folder to :

D:\Phasechange's Documents\Firefox\default.4ke*

For Thunderbird I do a similar thing with C:\Documents and Settings\phasechange\Application Data\Thunderbird\profiles.ini:

and move the profile folder with all it's contents to:
D:\Phasechange's Documents\Thunderbird\2x7sqptq.default*

This allows me to backup all my mail when I backup my documents and all my Firefox settings. Moreover when I reinstall my OS partition (say restoring an image of C I don't loose my emails.
