Well, knowing the people around here, I figure it'll be a party where the alcohol flows freely and the bits only flow when they are allowed to.

Given the nature of this site, we should celebrate at 1024 members. Given the nature of these members, we should all install a "secret" keylogger and get Javacool to write a program which mimics key entries. Then we dl a machine readable copy of Tolstoy's War and Peace, go online, and give some hapless neohacker the disk full treatment he richly deserves.

Or we could bake a cake.

Waitaminnit! WAITAMINNIT! Somebody mentioned alcohol! Yeah, that's how we'll do it! Off to Paul's refrigerator, gang!

Buggers - don't you ever try to get into my fridge!

Never mind the wine coolers - nor the beer and other stuff. (glad you never discovered the 50 year old malt whiskey and the Chateau Petrus 1954 - stashed on a safer place..).

Alas, we admins are out of competition . Registered member 1000 will be screened, must post at least 50 times after registering within a month(useful stuff, that is) - and contact me personally after all that. Expensive, good, reliable security software might be his/hers reward..

    regards,

    paul

:) Hiya snowman! Good to hear from you. BLAZEY's going to be so happy! I understand your situation. Been there buddy! Been there, been done, lived to talk about it. I'm glad you can too! All of us here will toast repeatedly to your recovery, health and happiness! Let the spirits flow!

(I saw a cartoon in "Mutts" last week of a snowman refusing to melt in the summer sun. Thought of you. Tried to get an e-mail copy but no go. Maybe one of the partiers here could help? Mutts is part of King Syndicate.)

I'm looking forwards to your eventual return! All of us are! Thank you for coming by to say hello and not goodbye! ;)

:) The countdown continues. The ultimate question to the ultimate answer was "What do you get when you multiply six by nine?" The ultimate answer was "forty-two!" That's how many are now left until

Why does the "ultimate" answer always have to have something to do with math? ARGH!

:D Note to Detox: For every problem, there is one (mathematical) solution which is simple, neat and wrong. Math is the ultimate joke! (I used it because it referred to 42. Now, what refers to 40?) ;)
