Yes, I think it is great too. Something is wrong with my computer. Without PG with google earth it kicks me out from the program, only with it it works, that program amongst many others better. Going now to check with SSM.
Anyways, it is just my puter with some hardware problems ;)

Probably your best option would be to use CyberHawk with SSM. Let SSM do the controlling and CH can use it's behaviour analysis to intercept suspicious events. This way if you allow something you shouldn't have(or thought was safe) then at least CH may be able to spot it is doing something it shouldn't.

Best HIPS? There is no best HIPS around. My recommendation is GeSWall. I use it myself.

I think you need to try and evaluate different programs to find out which one suits your needs best. Best HIPS is actually not an appropriate definition. It makes a particular product look as though it is superior to the others.

Ok, I've played with Safe'n'Sec. I think it is a very good HIPS. Very low resource using; safensec.exe uses 10mb and snsmcon uses 9mb. If you use "strict" or "total" control policy it can be very annoying. I use "trusted" policy.
Although I use "trusted" it passes every leak tests I tried. Also I've tried to execuate banker trojan and Safe'n'sec blocks it.
I think this is a good piece of software but using it can be hard for non-expert users.

i installed and and got rid of it right away because i found out it was made by crawler, what stops them from getting tons of people using it then when you do an update it sends you malware instead? nothing really.

Every time ssm free tries to do something (update, etc) comodo fw blocks it and says SSM FREE doesn't want to communicate with comodo so it's a virus, trojan, etc etc..

    Why?
