I've had this SM1bg.exe running in my Task Manager for some time. So today I decided to see what it was, and I found a couple of threads from google and realised it was some sort of a trojan. I have no idea how to get rid of it, so if you know what to do, please reply.

I have also uploaded a screenshot of my Task Manager, so if some of you guys could take a look at it and tell me if there's anything else suspect there, it would be great (and don't worry realsched.exe is from RealPlayer, I've already uninstalled that).

Any help would be much appreciated,

    Cheers.

    Hi kinetx!

I would suggest that you download HijackThis from http://www.snapfiles.com/get/hijackthis.html

Install it in a regular folder, not on your desktop nor in a Temp folder or it will not be able to save backups to the changes it makes.

Run it and then post your Log at adware, spyware & hijack cleaning.

The experts there will be happy to help you!

    Best regards.
