TeaTimer vs. SpywareGuard

    what would you suggest, Spybot's TeaTimer or Javacool's SpywareGuard? which one offers a better protection? :rolleyes: o_O

    They both seem to work pretty well, why not run them both. ;)

    there is a glitch in spybot 1.4 that blocks some of the tea timer popup thing but other then that its good

    There's some overlap between Tea timer and SG, but they do also cover some different areas. Here's a comparison between SB, MSAS, SB, WinPatrol and SG. http://www.dozleng.com/updates/index.php?pg=redundant It is a bit dated now, but still accurate for SG and Tea timer.

    The Spybot bug is, sometimes when you get a pop-up warning from Tea timer, the button to choose 'allow' or 'deny' cannot always be selected, or at least not easily. I am really suprised it hasn't been fixed yet. The bug has been around for months with no fix in the program itself. You still have to do the fix yourself.
