Task Scheduler - Can't create any new tasks

Hello again

I'm not able to create any new task at all in TS - I get as far as entering the general, trigger, action details etc. but when trying to click-out, I'm hit with this...

EG when trying to create new task named 'Run Outlook':



...and the task is not created at all.

It doesn't matter whether I create a new folder or create the task in an existing one and it is happening for any exe/batch I select.

TS service is (obviously) running and so are dependencies.

This is a sole admin account on a Win7 64 bit retail install + Returnil.

Is there anything I'm neglecting to check here?

if Returnil is disabled does it work?

The problem was persistent even with Returnil off at boot.

I found NTFS / transaction resource manager errors in Event Viewer and so ran fsutil resource setautoreset true c:\ and now all is well.

Wish I knew what all that was about...

i know it is not ideal not knowing what caused it but it is fixed. Thanks for sharing how
