System mechanic 7 pro

I used 6 for a large part of last year successfully. Each time I have a problem a new download pops up and seems to fix it.

Now when I go into the program 85 % of the time it is not responding. and if I try to use shut it down with task manager it says that it is locked by the system.
The only recourse is to shut the computer down. Yesterday a new download popped up, but this time it locks up 99 % of the time.

My anti-virus and firewall portion of the program seen to work okay.
