Our corporate network group is requiring that we use the Web SSL VPN provided by Cisco on their 3000 series concentrators. Their VPN software requires that clients use an antivirus software package from an approved list.

    See: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products..._guide_chapter09186a0080753fa2.html#wp1041473

Are you aware of any activity you have with Cisco to get on this list?? I have some people in a remote office that are using NOD32, and love it. Our network guys say that the list is part of the Cisco software, and they have no way to update it, it would require an update from Cisco.

Or is there another way around it? Can NOD32 work in parallel with SYmantec Antivirus or one of the other packages on the list?

If you are using an AV not in the list, you just leave the Anti-Virus box cleared at Figure 6-6 'VPN Feature Policy Criteria Dialog Window' and it will work fine.

    Does that help?

    Cheers :)
