I haven't really looked deep into it, I just saw it mentioned that Norton DNS now offers content filtering.

Anyone else having problem with ClearCloud? I've been trying to enter -http://mtc.sri.com/live_data/malware_dns/ and always got error message Error 105 (net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED)

After a few tries, I noticed the ClearCloud icon in browsers tab (I got javascript disabled), so I opened a session with javascript enabled, and this time I still get the same error message.

It's also making other websites not load sometimes. I wonder if it's something globally happening to ClearCloud?

    -edit-

The warning saying that it was blocking the domain finally appeared and I submitted a false positive. Hopefully, it will start to behave. :D

I still can't access -http://mtc.sri.com/ There's simply the same error message.

    Can anyone access it?

Not resolving. I've posted it @ CC's forum, if they reply, please follow-up as I don't have any info about that domain. ;)

Thanks for reporting this issue over there. I see a reply there stating the website is down with or without ClearCloud DNS.

I find odd that, yesterday, after a few tries I got the ClearCloud DNS block page, which I took the chance to report as a false positive.

    o_O

I'll see what else I find. Thanks

    -edit-

There's clearly some issue with that domain. I suppose the fact ClearCloud DNS block page appeared was just a coincidence, meaning at some point the domain was up, but then down again.

Nothing else to do rather than wait for the next few days and see what happens.

    Thanks

I'm not sure if the site was previously on our block list for some reason but it doesn't appear to be currently. However, as has already been mentioned, the site appears to be down even without using ClearCloud.

i had to give up on clear cloud. i end up getting routed via tata in LAX whose only routeable path is via london, which ends up dumping my queries either on their london node or paris node, depending on the day. unfortunately, that means my queries can take 1-2 seconds, sometimes more. boo.

Has anyone else been experiencing problems in resolving domains, such as www.wilderssecurity.com ending up in web browser displaying name resolution error message?

It has been happening for quite a while, though. Most of time it's OK, but sometimes it really makes one want to ditch it. lol

I always have to wait a few seconds to refresh.

Yes, it's annoying. I've reported it @ the forum. Remember this is still in BETA, a loooong beta actually.

are either of you two having issues comcast users? comcast's only peering w/any of clearcloud's nodes appears to be via their (comcast's) tata communications peering which routes overseas, and is often hideously congested.

Nope, not using Comcast. And, it's not always happening. For example, since I connected to the Internet, a few moments ago, no problems of whatsoever so far.

Just random issues. Overall, it's a great service. Obviously, and hopefully, overtime it will become more stable.

Is anyone able to access www.mozilla.com? I keep getting Error 105 (net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED): Unable to resolve the server's DNS address.

I wonder if it's a problem with ClearCloud or Mozilla.
