Now first off let me state I had read odd log entries in my event viewer
in which "record now" one of my HP oem programs I'd not yet actually used to my knowledge, had entries about attempts at starting and was un successful, needed a "CD" I think it said.
Now as I installed Spyware Blaster this installer program starts with its windows with the download graph animation thing.
I just wanted to ask if any other user has seen this behaviour?!

    Thanks!

    Hi JBon,

    Welcome to Wilders!

It might be something different but one thing I would look at is to check that your temp directory is emptied. Sometimes the installation of one program will not clear its temp files and when you try installing a different program later it seems to be installing a hash of the first program.

Hope this helps, but I am sure you will get more input if not :)

    Regards,

    Dan

I have the same problem - it tries to install "Record Now" everytime I start SpywareBlaster. Did you ever find a solution to this problem?
