Stop Usb Drive Usuage

    How can i restrict the use of pendrives and usb hard disk to be used on my computers? i also need a way to easier disable and enable method of usb drives.

    I hope it's ok to post this, if not.....................OK

    I use this batch file that disables USBstor in the registry and turns off USB posts, and equally re-enables it again.

    You can Copy/Paste to notepad, save as ALL FILES, then name it whatever you like, i call mine USB Lock.bat. It's quite safe on XP, others i can't recommend because i not tried it on other platforms.

    I don't know if it's what you need, but you could also try disabling USB ports in the hardware manager.

    Great simple answers! :) To expand a bit... Is there a way to selectively allow specific USB drives while denying all others?
