still getting spyware and adware

i have downlaoded spybot, ad-aware and spyware blast. i am still getting icons dowloading on my desktop - and folders added to my "favorite". what can i do to stop this? i run a scan (two actually) everytime i start up, then i run spyware blast - this is killing me.

wat things are on your desktop? do u know there names?
its possible spyware blaster doesnt protect against it, and if thats the case, if u would post the info here , maybe javacool will add it 2 a future database update

also, make sure u are clean, post a hijackthis log in the hijack this forum

its possible spyware blaster does protect against the items that are comming back, because u are never fully "clean" , so like i said, post a hijackthis log in the forum, also, whenever u scan with adaware &/or spybot, make sure u update them b4 u scan, 2 make sure u have the latest updates
