StartUp Problem....

when my computer starts the NOD32 is stuck for like a 1min and i can't do anything untill it will finsh (the NOD32 windows) i did format but it did help

someone telld me its because i have ADSL in my IP Changes....

 

What other security programs do you have running?

Do you have Windows Service Pack 2 installed?

It could be something that is running at startup that is delaying NOD32.

You could run msconfig, and then start disabling the startup items one by one to see if one of them is causing the problem. Leave NOD32kui checked in the startup items. You will need to reboot after you disable each item.

 

i dont have SP2 i had it but it was the same problem
and when i did format i installed NOD32 First!
so there is no problem with the msconfig.....

Usually it is network services which take a long time to load. Since the nod32krn service is dependent on them (for instance, the auto update function), it waits for those services to load.
