Trying it now. It seems to have a different update then either Chrome or Dragon does. When an upgrade is out, do I just download the installer from the web site and then install it over the top of Iron? I can't find a way to update it through the browser like either chrome or Dragon.

  7. Uninstall Iron then install the new version. No automatic updates I think.

If you want to keep your profile, yes. In case you prefer a clean install, make sure to back it up first!

I did a simple comparison last month, between the current at the time, stable versions of Chrome and SRWare Iron. They had the same extensions installed, and the same settings. Iron was always about 10MBs lower in RAM when compared to Chrome. Disc I/O was harder to compare, and I didn't see any real, meaningful differences between them.

Iron felt lighter to me, and also seemed to open pages faster too. Now these are just my subjective findings of course, but the lower RAM usage was repeatable no matter how long I kept the browsers open.
