Spywareguard, SpywareBlaster: a stupid question...

    Do both programs need to be running, in the taskbar as you surf the net for max. protection? I somehow got the impression that SG didn't need to be on/running, to do its work.

    There are no such things as stupid questions SG1. Contradictio in terminis.
    I think you got them mixed up somehow.
    SpywareBlaster is the one that does not have to run in the background as SpywareGuard should.
