I installed both programs and they seem to work, but everytime I click on them I get prompted with a message saying "Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1 Premium," then another message appears saying, "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable." And it asks me to look for the installation package "DATA1PRM.MSI." What is this? and What do I do? Thx.

Over the last couple years, there have been several cases posted here and at other software forums where following the installation of some application, Windows will find that it needs to update or reinstall some file or files from some unrelated installation media.

With Javacool products the most common installer request we've seen have been for Microsoft Office CDs (or MS Frontpage). In many cases, the resolution was to simply give the install CD (or a path to the kit on your hard disk) when it was requested.

Windows has a lot of auto install / auto recovery features. It can reinstall dependant system files automatically whenever it needs to. These result in requests for installation media, if the installer files are not contain on disk in a known location.

Here are some examples from previous threads:

If you can load your Microsoft Office CD when it pops up that alert and point it there, it may finish the installation of whatever it is looking for. That work fairly often to stop these alerts. Thought some people have decided to uninstall and then reinstall the related product (Office, Frontpage or whatever), just to insure that their install was clean and complete. That has always worked.
