spyware guard replacement

Hello,

I was planning on uninstalling spywareguard since it wasn't updated anymore,
what are your advice regarding this.

asquared or winpatrol? or a different tool perhapsrefer. free/shareware
(or just let it run?)

I would seriously consider Spyware Terminator with HIPS and Clam AV disabled. ST's realtime shield is pretty good. Next to SpySweeper it is probably the best I have seen to prevent browser hijacks or from being terminated. I have CounterSpy and Ashampoo (A-squared clone) but ST's realtime protection beats both of them. It is nearly impenetrable in regard to the above concerns.
