spyware blaster

    I currently have spywareblaster version 2.6.0 and run windows 98 se
    Do I have to uninstall it before I download the new version that is available.

    Actually, you don't really have to, however, I always do clean installs myself. I deinstall the previous version, reboot my system, and then install the new version. No chance this way of having anything locked or hung up because I forgot to close it before trying to upgrade. Since SpywareBlaster installs and deinstalls so quickly and easily, it really can't hurt to do it this way.
