SpyShelter mickey mouse incompetency

    I bought Spyshelter Premium some time ago.

    Today I get two messages from Spyshelter notifying me that I must use a new key, starting with version 5.41. The first messages's key didn't work. Then I received a second message saying that the first message was a mistake & providing a "changed" key.

    That key also did NOT work! :mad:

    I have sent them a message reporting the problem. They haven't answered my message so I still cannot use the latest version of SS.

    I absolutely detest this comedy of mistakes piled onto mistakes. :thumbd: :thumbd: :thumbd:

    The second key worked for me. Version 5.41 reverted back to 14 days trail, the first key didn't work but the second did.

    Refund is in order I think.I was going to purchase it but kept getting BSOD memory dumps.I never even made 14 day trial as it crashed windows 7 several times a day.Sorry to hear about your fustrations though. I hope customer service steps up to the plate.

    ok I got the msg right now and my key doesn't work either.. what is this second key ya'll talking about :doubt:

    Got a free lisence a while ago, but did not receive a new key. :p

    very strange that the g-mail (spysheltergmailcom) I get a serial that works...
    very bad for a company that deals with computer security:thumbd:
    and no explanation has not received.something very strange happens:thumbd:

    after contacting support they replied back within 10 mins and the problem solved..:thumb: :D

    Maybe, they are trying to combat priracy. Give them the benefit of doubt.

    They have changed the license registration - therefore there are new licenses - if the application accepted the license key but it says still there are 14 days of trial you must restart the application and the license will be valid :)

    Recently a keygen for SS has appeared, so probably he is trying something new, anyway this should never affect to the legit users.

    Because it's the "old" key - you must write to the SS support for the "new" one :p

    SS folks replied. The problem is fixed now.

    I DO like SpyShelter a lot but I do not enjoy fiddling around with erroneous key codes. Too bad they couldn't get the codes right in the first 2 messages.
