Does spyblaster help prevent installing dialers?
Also, if it does, what red parts do I tick do help prevnt the installation of dialers?

Yes, SpywareBlaster can help prevent the installation of many dialers.

If you check all of the items, you'll be protected for sure (it would take forever for me to go through the list and pick out just the dialers) - I highly recommend checking all items too - it'll protect you against all kinds of other ActiveX-based spyware.

Do ALL or Most dialers use activeX ?

Also, do I need to run them in all profiles in my comp? There are many users in the comp I'm using and I was just wandering if I need to run them in all profiles?

    thanks for your help.

I'd say a good 99% of them use ActiveX to install (at a minimum). ;)

SpywareBlaster's main protection (against spyware/dialers/browser hijackers/etc.) is global - it affects your entire system (all profiles). Thus, you only need to apply it in one profile, and the rest will be covered.

The cookie protection, however, has to be applied in every profile that you want it enable for.

    Best regards,
