    Hi!
There is anyway I can get rid of the Prevx 3.0 in my Vista Windows Security Center?? I tried all sort of methods with no success (including Prevx removal tool). Any specific registry to twick or modify? Just installed once and now will follow me forever!

    Thanks,

See my previous post about resetting WMI ;)
There is not way to get rid of it :(

They must use a persistent way to signal their presence in the registry?

if wmi reset didn't work then .... you can try reinstalling prevx or some other similar progs. i found those actions fix the issue somehow

...And this is what a removal tool also see after resetting the WMI. Apparently I still have both a legacy to PREVX 2.0 and PREVX 3.0 on my sysem.

I hope developers have a way to clean this without re-formatting the machine! :(

Their persistance on the WSC is worst than malware... LOL
