    You know what kills you everytime you read something malicious like this? If both the wireless vendors AND more importantly gov. trackers can monitor and index so easily cellphone communications, they are in the absolute best position to not only recognize these criminal intrusions into customers/citizens handsets, but have the means to stop it cold from it's onset.

    So it begs to question, why do these flagrant text smishing schemes continue to draw repeated press attention like there is no technical ways to prevent them when all the measures are already in place to nip it in the bud the moment evidence of such a scheme is right in front of their screens?

    Duh.
