Yota is setting up in Canada, probably in Waterloo, where Blackberry is currently located. Also trending ... setting up business in North America would help Russian companies escape the sector sanctions currently being imposed on Putin. Yota getting help from the Canadian government - :argh:

The YotaPhone 1 has gotten mixed reviews. While the e-ink screen, which uses less power than a traditional LCD screen, helps to conserve battery power, the quality of the back display is lacking, according to CNET. The e-reader screen also lacks full-touch capabilities, and the design is clunky, said Mr. Shepherd. The YotaPhone 2 improves on both of those fronts, with rounded edges and a full touch e-reader screen, Mr. Martynov said.
