Smart Securety und HP Protect Tools

Hello, we are currently using HP EliteBook Notebooks in our company.
Those notebooks have a software called "HP Protect Tools" installed
right from the start.

It seems that Smart Security (V. 4.0.467.0 German) has massive problems
with this software. Since installing Smart Securety on those HP notebooks
SmartSecurity blocks network communication and slows the system down,
making it impossible to work for the user.
Furthermorte it is not possible to make i clean uninstall.

Are any problems according HP Protect Tools and Smart Securety
known yet?

I am not familiar with the HP software you mentioned, but was wondering if you had tried excluding it from being scanned in ESET Smart Security? If so, did that make any difference?
