Ever since I did Blackspear's extra settings on my machines, downloads of graphical subject matter (pictures) has slowed to a crawl. It takes minutes to download a photo. I have a Dell XPS, E6600 processor, 1 gig memory, 320GB SATA HD and a cable connection that will do 6 meg. I use Firefox and Thunderbird and the OS is XP with all updates. I get the download and scanning windws showing when I do these downloads. Can someone help me as to which setting or settings might be causing this?

IMON and your browser set to Higher efficency .

Open Control Center -> IMON -> Setup -> "HTTP" tab -> Client compatibility . Click once to change every program (especially your browser) to Higher compatibily and confirm with OK

I also noticed one more thing about slowing down.
When an application that have "show detail" option is installing, when a file with extension "exe" is checked with NOD32 CPU usage comes near 100%.
    Everything else goes easy.
