Are you saying that this build is substantially different from the build posted by nanana1 on https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=257700

    ?
I can't see anything that is indicative of that apart from a formal release dated [11/10/2009] on Shadow Defender site, maybe I'm missing something?

These are the hashes of the installers from the official site:

    MD5

    Shadow Defender 1.1.0.315 x32\SD1.1.0.315_Setup.exe 781837391BE6B001A6AEB99274E40BDF

    Shadow Defender 1.1.0.315 x64\SD1.1.0.315_Setup(x64).exe 91D17CFB73421AE2E4063C6888EED61C

Thanks for the heads ups. Some people wish new features and it's fine, but Tony deserves congrats in that as far as the substance goes, he delivers always. Quick Win7 support, stable and also native 64bit. And as soon as a serious issue for some people (hybernation) came up, he rushed to fix it.

Basically he guarantees you that you will be able to use the basic aspect of the program in every platform. New features can be nice, but the juice is to have a good basic support first.
That's good enough for 1 man's work. :thumb:

I don't want anyone to get the wrong impression here, I'm a big fan of Shadow Defender and Tony and he deserves all the praise that he gets, I've followed it/him from the early versions...it's just that I didn't see any difference between todays formally released version and the one nanana1 told us about the other day.
This is not dreadfully important, I have today's version now anyway.

Is SD compatibe with a VMware virtual machine ?

My first experience with it on a XP VM was after clicking the shadow button, and unshadowing it a few minutes later, it told me a reboot was required, upon reboot, I saw some SD dos-like message that it was restoring my state, it hung at 100%, and 1 hour later it was still there, couldn't do else then hard reset the VM, and in frustration uninstall it.

I cant sometimes enter shadow mode. This is with all versions since installing Win 7.The system usually enters shadow mode after about 5 seconds after clicking enter shadow mode . hat sometimes happens ,after clicking enter the system just waits for it and i cant do anything, all that i can do is shutdown from the power button.

You may be better posting this over at Shadowdefenders forum where Tony will be able to help and advise.
