Till now Seven was not my principal OS, but now I'm beginning to customize it. In XP I can add in the Start Menu all the shortcuts I need, not only these for programs, but also these for the other drives of my pc, for exemple, or these for other folders... In Seven I can't, neither the Guide online helped me ( I found this useful program: http://www.startmenux.com/it/index.html, but I don't like his appereance ).

Do you know some tricks to help me ?

Download Classic Shell. It restores the Windows 95/98 start menu that existed on previous version of Windows and brings back the Windows Explorer layout as it was in Windows XP.

I can't stand the Windows 7 start menu and this has worked for me since it came out a few years ago.

Re: Seven: customize start menu SOLVED

http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/22546-63-copying-start-menu-content-windows : it's not exactly as in XP start menu, but it works.
