    Hi!

I use True Image Server for Linux.

A strange thing happens: after transfering the backup to our office, I can not restore the archive (using the cd) on a Linux box. But when I boot with the boot-cd on a Windows-desktop, I can restore the archive.
B.t. on the desktop I also have installed True Image 7 for desktop.
The image is made on a Linux server ....

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Hello Joop2,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Linux Server Disk Backup Software.

First of all, please make sure that you use the latest build (946) of Acronis True Image Server 8.0 for Linux which is available at: http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/support/updates/

To get access to updates you should create an account at:
    http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/my/
then log in and use your serial number to register your software.

If the problem still persists with the latest build (946) of Acronis True Image Server 8.0 for Linux then please clarify what exactly do you mean when saying that you "can not restore the archive (using the cd) on a Linux box". Please describe the issue in more words.

Have you received any error messages? What exact error messages?

Describe actions taken before the problem appears step-by-step.

    Thank you.
