I work in a school setting and would like to give teachers a bootable disc that would do an automatic restore without any user intervention.

Are there any plans to add this type of boot cd creation in the future. Like an option for a Managed Boot CD or Unmanaged Boot CD, same if it is a DVD.

Right now I just have 1 boot disc and then the disc with the actual image on it and though that is simple for me, I know a teacher would have still have problems.

Would be a great option to add... maybe Unattended Restore CD or DVD feature?

    Thanks,

    Matt

    Hello Matt,

Using the newer versions of TI 9.0 and TI 10.0 Home you can choose to add the the Acronis Media Components plus the One-Click Restore feature to an image file created to optical media. Whilst this does require users to click on the On-Click Restore button after booting from the DVD, it's probably as near as you are going to get.

Be aware that the One-Click Restore will delete any partitions on the drive being restored that are not included in the backup image.

    Regards

    Hello nnhood,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

We are sorry for the delayed response.

You can find more information about how to enable One-Click Restore feature in chapter 5.3 "Setting backup options" of the Acronis True Image 10.0 Home User's Guide.

Please be aware that according to Acronis License Policy you need to purchase a copy of Acronis Product per computer it will be used on.

    Thank you.
