Any ideas or suggestions on how to secure I.E? I have mcafee pro, adaware, spybot, spywareblaster, looknstop and A2/ewido.

Any other ways to lock down I.E? I would rather use I.E than any other browser personally.

Oh, I also use pop up cop which blocks scripts, applets and so forth.

    Hello Simon,

If you're not already running IE-SPYADS, definately worth a look.
Many other resources of interest hosted by Eric Howes (Spyware Warrior).
Checkout IE resources down the main page for the xml files that handle cookies,
nice options/easy import (over-rides auto configuration).

Toss IE's temporary internet files with CleanUp! by Steven Gould (powerful and easy).
Nice free program that's found a home as my system maid :D (Tutorial).

And if you're running as administrator, you may want to DropMyRights (actually your's). :D

Just a few ideas, there are literally hundreds including the ever versatile Proxomitron web filter.
Kill ads, flash, and "nosey" java scripts. Personally Simon, I run IE with active controls disabled.
I feel the benefits easily outweigh the risks.

    Happy Investigations. ;)
    GF
