winxp sp2: just installed trial verson 8 (850) a few days ago, and set up a secure zone on a seperate HD. My understanding of the secure zone is that windows programs are not allowed to access it. So, why then, am I allowed to mount it as a virtual drive and copy files from it, but not to it? It appears in all programs as a drive.

    Hello stumcl,

Please accept my apologies for the neglect of your questions. Acronis Secure Zone is a special area on the Hard Drive that is exclusively used by Acronis True Image to store backup images so it is not visible to the computer’s operating system and can only be accessed by the Acronis True Image application.

    Thank you.
