Yes, quite frankly it amazed me. I never figured that WOT could do that to the status bar. I feel a bit naked without it. I like SeaMonkey & it was the closest thing I could find to Firefox in those long dark v3/3.6 days. Luckily, I actually have Firefox back. :)

Apparently WOT is a bit out of fashion on MozillaZine, so I don't know if it will be re-coded for SM even though it is obviously bug-producing, so to speak. I'm always out of fashion on security forums. I was actually trolled on some Spyware Warrior Opera Forums just for using Norton & McAfee. When I changed to the much lighter MSE that became unfashionable as well. I mean ... it's not like I'm a Goth or wear flared trousers or something.

OK, I still use audio cassettes occasionally, but in my defence I have most of the operas of Wagner & Puccini on them. OK, admittedly I have Bauhaus's 'Greatest Hits' as well ... but someone gave me that.

I'd been slowly setting up SeaMonkey with as many extensions as I could find at Mozdev & Mycroft to make it as useful as Firefox, just in case, heaven forbid, I had to lose Fx or make a clean install of it. The portable SM works very well.

Rightly or wrongly I just do feel a tad vulnerable without WOT. I know I can check out sites with WOT in NoScript but it's not quite the same.

    Apparently not LOL!

    Thanks Vasa :thumb:

I'll give the compatibility reporter a try.
