    Hi,

I was using a PNY 8 gb sdcard, on a HP netbook, (with built in slot for the card), Win7 starter was using this for Readyboost. Normally at computer I would see the drive listed as (D:).

Drive (D:) no longer appears when clicking manilla folder, or computer.

At Computer mgt > disk mgt > I see " removable (D:) no media"

Choosing "CMD" typing cd D:\ results in D: but cannot copy a file to the drive "drive not ready msg)

Remove SD card > reboot > disk mgt > Drive (D:) no media still there. Nothing in the slot.

Tried a different SD card same results

Tried USB card reader with Sd card in it works FINE

In disk mgt. the only place I see (D:) is where the large icons are, or not the list. Clicking the icon for (D:) nothing happens

Try re-installing the internal SD card reader's driver from the manufacturer's website.
