I have ran into a problem that is more irritating then anything else.
When i open Windows media player sandboxed, and then go
to clear the sandbox,I find i always have eight wmv files ready to recover.
These files are from march of last year, approx when I removed sandboxie to try another set of programs.
They are set to recover to the same folder the originals are already in.
When I set my firewall to block all traffic, this still happens,so i suppose it must be within my system.
My other security programs are listed in my signature.

I have sandboxie set to allow only Firefox to access the internet,
the drop rights option enabled, and read only access to C:Windows.
I have tried a reinstall of Sandboxie after running CCleaner and regedit,
and on reinstall the same files return.

    Thanks for any help,
    pest

Remove Windows Media Player from automatically starting in Sandboxie ...

Right click anywhere along the top toolbar the player and click tools, options, privacy - untick in the History section "Save file and URL history" then click clear both clear history & clear cache tabs below.

Then go to Devices tab, click Advanced tab at the bottom, you will see a Delete Files tab in the "Store files temporarily to this location" section (obviously if you want the files that keep popping up in sandboxie check theyre backed up) then delete.

On Library tab, click Monitor Folders, Advanced, untick Add files previously deleted from library.

close Media Player and then run inside Sandboxie. that should wipe the files out loading.

If that solves the problem. Then run Media Player without Sandboxie and reapply the changed settings.

With a bit of luck that might solve your problem
