Runtime error. Out of string range.

    Tell me, when you install the trial version ess5 (file ess_64_rus.msi) for Windows Starter 64bit, I see following error: Runtime error (at 40:897) Out of string range. File pumped 5 times, tried to install in recovery mode - does not help.
    What should I do?

    Runtime errors, as you probably know, can sometime be caused by conflicting software corrupt files, windows registry problems and so on. My only small contribution to your troubles, is these two links, What is a runtime error? and Welcome to the Fix it Solution Center take a look and see if they can guide you towards a solution.
