RPC Service error ?

All,
Very first time receiving this message, only change, XPSP2. The error when attempting to create an image is "Failed to create the scheduled task - The RPC Server is unavailable".

Now, under services, both RPC items are Automatic and Started.

Any ideas ? Going to try to create an image from the boot cd now.

Oh yeah, I'm back to TI7 Build 597, because of all the SATA problems.

Even though you say that both services are running, still please make sure that Acronis Scheduler2 Service in particular is running. In order to do it please go to Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services, search for the item named "Acronis Scheduler2 Service" and check if it has "started" status. If not, please start it. Also please right click on the item under consideration and select Properties. Then please set the field named "Startup type" to Automatic.
