    Was most of Houston and surrounding areas spared from the destruction of this storm Ron?

    I'm not seeing to many reports from there. Mostly seeing the Lake Charles area in Louisiana that obviously really got whacked. :eek:

    Here in DFW, we were expecting some rain and wind from Rita, but not a drop fell. Mostly clouds and wind.
