I've been to the Rollback rx site and even did the trial of it.
    Interesting program.
Then I saw the EAZ-FIX site.

    http://www.eazsolution.com/en/index.php

This program looks identical to Rollback rx.
Matter of fact, everything I can see is identical except for the price, which is cheaper.
Any one have any opinions on this?
Is it the same program and does it to the same job?
    Just curious is all.
    Thanks, Dan

And even customer support is the same. :)

Well "cheaper" always gets my attention, but I can't even find prices on the site. How did you determine it was cheaper? Ordering doesn't seem straight-forward either.

    Simple, I asked them.
They appear to be more of a reseller as Leapfrog software is with FD-ISR.
    Go to:

    http://www.eazsolution.com/en/buyone.php

It will ask for user name and password.
    For user, put in eazpro
    For password, put in buyone
That will take you to the page where individuals may buy one and lists all the prices.
Buy the way, EAZpro, v.8 is $49.00.
I am running it now, and from trialing Rollback, it seems to do everything Rollback does.
They both seem like a copy of each other at this point.
So far EAZ is doing everything it says it will.
    Dan

Edit: just tried link, going directly to sight.

Minor nitpick Dan. Leapfrog Software is actually the developer of FD-ISR, and whoever you bought it from is the reseller.

Rollback Rx should really make some strides now they've teamed with Leapfrog because FD-ISR is ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT in every way.

    Thanks, Peter.
Was totally wrong the way I put it and I know that Leapfrog is the developer.
Gotta get me some more coffee! :D I'm bad.

I still wonder who is the developer of the 3 almost identical software, under the names of Rollback, EAZ-FIX and I believe a chinese version called Ayr.
I'll have to see if Google is really my friend.

Is that the idea of "when you can't beat them, you join them?"

Looking forward to FD-ISR RX or Rollback-ISR.

Probably never happen. Rollback folks are developers of Rollback(I think)
    But only resellers for FDISR.

Still they are smart. This way they make money selling either one.

Why can both technologie be merge? The Developper of Rollback could work in collaboration with the Developper of FD-ISR to make the ultimate Recovery software :D They will still have followers from both actual products plus probably a bunch of new ones $$$$

It's legit. No conflict of interest. The products are very different, and appeal to different users. Instead of losing a sale to FDISR, now they can sell it. Smart.

Horizon Datasys is perhaps a reseller for the rebranded eazFix and now apparently also FD-ISR.
Like your electronics store sells Philips next to Sony. :)

It hasn't been officially announced. See the announcement in Leapfrog forum. There is a link there.
