    How do I restore PROCGUARD.LOG?
After a Registry scan, I found it missing from C:\…\PROCESS GUARD\.

What might have caused the deletion of this log file?

Have you tried simply creating a new one using Notepad, saving a blank text file as "procguard.log"? Might work. Worth a try.

Hi NormanS, Have you checked the process guard folder to see if procguard.log is there?

You can set the file path to wherever you want using the Set file log path then enable file logging and all should be well.

I need a little help with the two step procedure Pilli gave:
    1. How do you set the file log path?
    2. And how do you enable file logging?

How do I get Procguard.log to continue logging?

After installing Procguard.log in my ProcessGuard folder back in June, 2004, I have discovered that there have been no additions since January 19, 2005.

    Oops!
I found a new set of logs under ProcessGuard\ProcessGuard\logs; they are labeled pg_XX_2005, where XX is 01, 02, 03, etc.

Any file cleaning program may delete logs. There are many disk cleaners which will delete log files so if you use one make sure it is not set to delete these files if you need them. Also, I had a problem with my disk controller on a previous motherboard and noticed that my PG log files would just 'disappear' from time to time. DCS told me it most probably disk corruption and 2 months later I found that out to be true and ditched my Abit motherboard and got an Intel and since then my previously corrupt disk has been working perfectly.
