Since TI doesn't (yet) support creating DVD size images, I created 9 CD size image packets. If I put 6 of them on one DVD and 3 on another, can TI handle doing the image restore?

Yes it will handle that, but the lessor number of physical files is better. What I do is put 2 2240mb image files on a DVD. This will most often reduce the number of disk switches during the restore process. Two of the 2240mb files will just about fill a 4.6gb DVD.

For what it is worth, I'm quoting this from another member's post:

"In fact it's better to set the image split size to 635MB (665845760 bytes), which will allow you to burn up to 7 files (approx 4.661GB) per 4.700GB ISO 9660 DVD.

If you don't want a ton of image files, use 1480MB which will allow you to fit three image files onto one DVD+R disk."

Maybe I'm blind, but how do I create a 1480 or 2240 MB image file? The biggest option that I've spotted is 700 MB.

You can just manually type in what ever value you want like this:
    Code:
    1480MB
    or
    Code:
    2240MB
or if you want one big file
    Code:
    4G

    Hello byg7668,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

simusphere is correct. You can specify the image archive split size manually.

    Thank you.

Thank you. Silly me. I assumed that the drop down options were the only options. Thank you again. That'll make life easier.
