Restore TrueImage 8.0 Images on new Hardware

    Hello,

    is it possible to restore a TrueImage 8.0 Server on a new Server with different Hardware ?

    That means, when i have a image from an HP Server and i want to recreate it on a IBM Server...is this possible ?

    Joern - the answer is yes, no, and maybe.

    Restoring the image from the HP server on a disk in an IBM server is very much like physically moving the disk from the HP server to the IBM server.

    So if you re-phrase the question like this: If I a move a disk from an HP server to an IBM server, will it work?, what do you think the answer is?
