I have a Acronis Recovery CD (latest 11 8053) that hangs after I select the Acronis Full option on my Optiplex 755. I half to manually shut it down and start over again with the same results. The boot cd works with all my other systems without issues (Hp, Dell laptop, etc.). I first thought it was because of the external USB hard drive connected, but I have booted with nothing connected externally to the system and still it hangs. I have set the SATA options to AHCI, ATA and legacy and it does not help. Any one have a suggestion. I am ready to can the software and go back using Ghost which runs perfectly. Thanks.

Yes I have, forgot to add it to my post. Same results. Even without the quiet, nothing on the screen.

Have you tried the SAFE mode of the TI Recvoery CD? If so, what happens?

The SAFE mode builder is an additional download from Acronis for version 11.

    Hello pruizgarcia,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Could you please collect some information to let us investigate the problem thoroughly?

Please create Linux system information (sysinfo.txt) as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

If you are not able to create Linux system information (sysinfo.txt) then please do the following:

    - Boot your computer from Acronis Bootable Rescue Media and press F11 key when the selection screen advising you to select either "Full", "Safe" or "Boot into Windows" option appears.
    - After you get the "Linux kernel command line" prompt, remove the word "quiet", click on the OK button and choose "Full Version".

When the screen stop scrolling please write down the output information you receive (last 5-10 lines), or use a digital camera to make shots of the output screen. You can use Shift+PgUp and Shift+PgDn keys to scroll the screen manually.

Then submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with a solution.

    Thank you.

Will try to get the Safe Mode thing and try that. If not, I will create a case. Thanks.
