downloaded it from diamondcs...wondering what causes its cfg files to change...been trying to learn what all is on the computer and how it works...really confusing sometimes. I now know what is in my autostart registry though. Thanks

yes regprot is a great little freeware app.

basically if windows runs any files found in a certain registry key at start up without asking you first, then regprot will monitor that key in real time. So if an attempt is made to add a program to it, regprot asks you if it is ok. On install, regprot will ask you to confirm or deny every entry that is already there.

Works great for getting rid of that loadqm.exe file.

yes i thought it was....i am having a lot of strange stuff happening on my comp....was logged on a little while ago and suddently everything stopped...then got disconnected....tried to log back to isp and it told me to check network setting cause it was set up wrong.. could not connect to anything...had to go reset it.  tds has found nothing....virus scan shows nothing...thats why i was wondering about the cfg files.  i am starting to think my computer is possessed. thanks
